Dallas just picked up Polak (which was a bad move). They have absolutely no need for anymore defesnemen, especially sub-par defensemen. They'll keep their pick and deal with the final year of Spezza's contract.

PIT already has a bad defensive core so that would be a big loss for them, the trade value might be there but I dont see many people agreeing with the trade.

I think that depends on the play of Johnson doesn't it?
Right now you have 4 LH defense man, Dumo, Matta, Johnson, and O. I don't have an issue moving out Matta and playing Johnson there. They would need to find a RHD somewhere through.
