This AGM team reeks of "My favorite team just lost an important game so let's trade everybody and **** it, whatever i don't even care anymore".

Edmonton and Calgary aren't trading potential lottery winning draft picks for those deals. "Mason can't win big games" so lets trade him and one of the worst Dmen in the league for a bottom 5 pick.

Depends on if Calgary thinks he can win big games, me personally of course thinks he cant, but he is a good goalie. Maybe Calgary thinks the team in front of him will do better. Bottom line Calgary wants and needs a number one goalie and the price for that is going to be a number one pick, someone off your roster, and yes you are taking a bad contract. The only caveat is if Calgary wins the lottery then of course no deal.

Looks like that but while I always thought Mason was an upgrade from whatever they had before, he just isnt the goalie that takes them to the next level, hell Columbus sure didnt think so. Also Masons contracts ends next year and do you re-sign him, let him go or trade him? Is he the future in Philly? This AGM thinks not.

Lol i wasn't too serious with my comment. :P

That WPG deal though is horrendous. I would give up any 1 player in the league for those 3 guys combined. Wheeler is very good and Hallebucyk has potential but come on.

The WPG deal is based on the assumption that Hellebucyk is a number one stud goalie, which is what I heard. Being a armchair GM has its limitations, You don't really know the kind of information someone like Hextall has. I hate giving up Ghost but if I were WPG and was trading a #1 stud goalie I would probably want more than what I offered including Ghost. As far as Jake goes I just want to be rid of that horrible contract.
Anyway thanks for the good dialogue.
