The NYR also need RHD and a little grit and power on the wing, Although Borgen is not NHL ready yet, he adds to their pipeline, and CJ Smith is an NHL prospect who could add some grit on the wing. He is ready to contribute right away

the NYR will recieve the higher of two non lottery picks from San Jose or St. Louis. For example, if SJS is picking 18th next year, and STL is picking 24, NYR will get 18 and vice versa.
