go into karlsson's shoes. doesn't he want to get past all this drama in ottawa and sign somewhere else long term. and from ottawas stand point, who the hell trades a 70 point d-man away as a rental???? they'll get max value for him, and karlsson's gonna get an extension with the team he wants to go to.

I didn't say this was realistic. I was just seeing if it could fit and how much of a superteam they could become

Superteam indeed if they somehow land Karlsson. That being said, I am hoping that somehow, for Sens fans sake, that he signs the contract extension and will be done with all this spec.
