The sens are a budget team and Lucic is going to be paid less then Ryan or the next 5 years and they need defenders and sekera is a servicable dman who can play top 4, while the oilers get a speedier winger and the cap evens out

FYI No way that Sekera is better than Wideman and I expect that the Sens will go bargain hunting on July 1st and get someone as good as sekera for 1/2 of the price and for less term.

Sens will keep their 1 anchor and you can keep your 2..
