What Oilers need in these kinda of trades is ELC and RFA contracts that we can control, cap is so tight until they figureout how to move money. While they are two decent players coming back neither have the value of Klefbom or the ELC contract a first round pick gives

I get that, but when I look at the numbers, this leaves EDM between 4-5M in cap, and only a few spots to fill. Canes could take something back (like Montoya). As for ELCs, EDM will have to bring some up from pipeline.
