Canucks need to get bigger,young and cheaper. Desharnais is the exact opposite.

This is a hockey trade. You give the Habs a player who won't be playing for your team in the remaining year of his contract for a guy who can make your team and at least contribute something. It's simply making use of team spending. At least both players are on expiring contracts.



I like these trades Ceil, I've made the exact same ones in a couple of my teams as well. Might have to retain more on the Eller deal though. King, statistically speaking is worth more than Eller straight up.
