The Sabres are definitely going to want a king's ransom for ROR, they won't be giving him away for nothing, the guy's under contract for 5 more years at a relatively reasonable contract as the cap rises.
Patches is UFA next year and likely won't re-sign for a reasonable amount with the Habs after his last contract (and I don't want Patches at 8 x $8yr as an already soft and aging winger), Juulsen is a decent prospect but not quite blue chip, and the 3rd overall is a good pick. Quite frankly, I think Buffalo would want more, and I think they will get more if they do end up trading him in real life.

Don't forget half retained.

I agree that the package offered is an overpay by Montreal...... What would the Sabres have to add in order to make it happen..... is it 2019 3rd Round Pick..... a player... a prospect.....
