I dont think Rick Nash is looking for 1 year deals. He learned alot from that huge contract he just came out of... Sign for long term so you dont have to perform every year. No way he plays another year fighting for another contract. I think he would take a 4 year $3.5M over taking a 1 year $5M contract. Someone will offer him that $3.5 with terms and NTC.

True. I have alot of faith in Nashville.... but I dont know that Nash would go with a team that isnt in a Major market. Again, just spit balling... I've never talked to the guy, but seems like he is selective on his markets. He might just stick it out with less dollars in Boston. But for the sake of the concept of this site, you did what you needed to do here to make a good team. Would be contenders for sure.. just need Pekka to play regular season type hockey throughout the playoffs.
