Going with a retool

Description
I would much rather keep Erik Karlsson on the team. Knowing how Sens management works, I don't see this happening, but this is how I would like to see them setup the team for next season. I used ideas that I've either heard or read. Some tweaks to trades or signings would probably need to be made. If the Karlsson trade is for anything less I can just see the fanbase getting extremely angry.

I forgot to add that the pick from Vegas is conditional. If Karlsson resigns with the team it stays a first. If he doesn't then it drops down to a 2nd round pick.

He has 1 year left on his deal and doesn't sound like he will want to re-sign. A first round pick and a young right shot defenseman is a pretty fair deal. And instead of being a troll, how about adding something useful? Like maybe proposing something that you think would be acceptable.

Sorry, how about Columbus doesn’t need defense, and why would we move him we didn’t think we were getting his value back in a trade...... Panarin on one year is still worth more then a late 20 pick in a top heavy draft and a dman that we don’t need.

What would you take in a trade for Panarin from Ottawa then? Obviously the 22nd is gone now.
