I like the value of the trade. I think giving up fowler, silf and a 1st might get that done. But it might take another D prospect to do it as well. I like the add of Pageau. He is underrated in my book. he is a plus PKer and he handles his own in the circle.

Agreed! Which I feel we do have the prospects to trade away if we had to. Karlsson make our D-core look great and creates 2 good defense pairings.

The addition of JGP softens the blow of possibly losing kesler the whole season. Gives us strength down the middle as well.

How do you feel about the Ritchie trade?

I like that trade minus the 2nd rounder. If it was one of the thirds and maybe a future 4th, it would be better. but Ho-Sang and Ritchie need a change of scenery I think.



I like it minus the 2nd. I would rather give up one of the thirds. But Ritchie and Ho-Sang need a change of scenery. The Isles have really never given him a shot. 20 games isnt a shot. I would like to see him here on a line with Getz and Rakell.
