Hunwick was a mistake. GMJR was too cheap to sign Hainsey. Plain and simple. It cost them. Hell it was 750k difference. Instead they over paid Sheary instead of letting him walk! As for the WBS look for Dane Birks. He's got some game. Came out of NCAA so he should be close to being ready. Did you know 32% of NHL players are now out of the NCAA. Booming! It's one of the largest roads to enter the NHL now and players make the jump almost immediately in most cases. They get great coaching in the NCAA. ZAR was the best Pen in WBS last year after coming over. Made the jump around mid season. So if the talent is there Birks will probably find a role.
