However, i don’t like any of your choices
Especially Vanek & McGinn
Our GM & scouts have been on local radio numerous times saying how we wanna get “faster”
Those 2 guys are far from it
So i just don’t see those moves happening

Yeah these moves definitely do not make them faster. I saw it as one more tank year and they can trade Vanek, Wilson, McGinn, and Pominville at the deadline for a bunch of picks.

1) it’s probably time to start winning
2) that lineup probably has us closer to the playoffs than it does a bottom5 pick
3) Vanek didn’t even get a pick at the deadline last year (and the prospect they got is a bottom6 guy at best)...
so idk if he or Pommer or McGinn would even get us anything at the deadline anyways?
Maybe some low round picks- and if that’s the case,
I’d rather “tank” with letting some of the kids play & hopefully develop

Good point, I forgot how little Vancouver got for Vanek. I don't think Buffalo is ready to compete for a playoff spot, but you're probably right about getting some younger players in the lineup.

I do think we are ready to start climbing the standings though
