Saw the Allen to phili examples in previous posts and I think it makes sense.

Bring back Elliot for a year or two until Husso can take over his spot while also getting Simmonds from Phili.

Probably one good piece short on that ROR trade - maybe if Mittelstadt proves he can play NHL center they move him for that price after this upcoming season/at TDL. Otherwise I bet they'd just keep him. To be clear, I wouldn't spend any more than what you have here for him.

I think the reason PHI would move Simmer is because he's going to demand a lot more than 4m on his next contract. He's probably looking at a 6m AAV. (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1vVxrRP-C59WkWJxtqzHpxg0WP5evst91USuyWTlE1NY/edit#gid=258412207)

Yeah I bet he gets more but unless he has another 30 goal season I cant see him getting 6, maybe 5.
