Description
Moves that need to be made for CAP reasons (re-sing Stastny and prepare for next year when Laine, Connor, and Wheeler are all due significant raises)

EDM-Likely moves their first htis year for immediate help on the RHD side of things as well as a middle 6 player. Petan has great hockey IQ and played great on McDavids team in WJHC and will never get a crack at WPG. conditional pick included despite the fact EDM able to speak to Myers pre-trade to discuss extension as insurance.

Perrault another casualty of the CAP. Kulikov should absolutely be moved before but likely no takers due to his injury at the end of last season and Perrault could potentially land decent return.

Why does every team I see involve Perreault being traded? I believe that Perreault is a key piece to the Jets going forward. I can't see the Jets doing much this offseason. If they need to move salary to get Stastny then I can see Myers and/ or Kulikov being dealt.

Just a quick edit. I think you meant to say 2019 Myer is conditional on Myers not resigning. We're not paying extra so that the Oilers can better themselves.

Just a logjam of LW talent. Vesa had similar numbers to Laine in his final year of Liiga. Peta was a point per game in the AHL and Lemieux was close to that. Perrault's great but you factor in cap and it's better for all parties if he gets top 6 minutes elsewhere.
