I'm not a Dallas stars fan, but i expect a lot from that team during the off-season. They are good, mature, and a whole lot of money to spend on UFA.

I do believe Tavares could sign in a team like Dallas, that can afford him, and that can go for a run at the Stanley cup sooner than later.

TRADE EXPLANATION

well spezza ask for a lot of money, and Dallas needs some cap space after spending on JT.
Detroit is trying to move Ouellet for a while now, and they have a LOT of cap space. by getting Spezza, they get rid of Ouellet, and change their 3rd round draft pick to a 2nd round draft pick.
If Spezza gets back on track in Detroit, they can retain half his salary and trade him at the dead line.

Now lets just hope Hanzal can play 70+ games this year.

what i dont like about the result of that team, is that they have no 13th foward, nor 7th D.... but they do have those in their farm club...
