The Sabres are not looking for a young goalie prospect in any deal that involves ROR. The opening ask would be a top prospect positional player, a first round pick and a roster player at a minimum..... let's keep talking.

I just do not see the Sabres & Canadians matching up well on an ROR trade..... I do not think the Sabres want to deal ROR and the only way for them to deal him would be an overpay from another team. If ROR was to be traded I think other teams match up better than Montreal..... like Calgary, Carolina & Edmonton.

B looks reasonable, I think I'd do that, though I'd hate to loose Mete. You may be right in that BUF has better options than MTL, though I cant see Edmonton adding another centre making as much as O'Reilly when they have McDavid and Draisaitl. Maybe Carolina involving Hanifan or Calgary with Hamilton as the centerpiece...

U r probably accurate with your statement regarding Edmonton not wanting another C..... I like Edmonton as I really like a few of their young players...... Yamamoto, Jones & Bear....

I think Edm would be more interested in Ristolainen than O'Reilly.

U r spot on with Risto but I have (I also hope that GMBots feels the same way) no desire to move Risto.... it would have to be an overpay by the team who I am sending Risto to....
