Description

The idea for this trade with FLA came to me while discussing a roster @MinnySauce put together.
I'm definitely interested in value and need opinions. I would consider Borgstrom or Tippett and potentially Pysyk or the rights to Petrovic.

Definitely an overpayment for Florida. First Trocheck isn’t even available but if he was, Florida would probably only give you Trocheck and the rights for Petrovic at most. Have to remember Trocheck is a #1 center on most team. We just have Barkov hence why he is #2.

I will grant you that Trocheck has more value than Granlund...especially because of his contract, but this trade isn't SO far off that it's not worthy of a counter offer. Granlund and Spurgeon are not super stars, but both are definitely star players. Trocheck is a stud, and I'm a big fan. Tippet is an educated guess still (with lots of promise), and Pysyk and/or Petrovic are 3rd pairing defensemen.
Anyways, make me a counter offer.
