What would you like Fabbri to sign for?
Do you think you’ll get anyone to take Steen without adding a upside piece?

i mean Fabbri had a good year before getting hurt, at least 2-3 for a bridge deal imo.
Steen is still a viable top 6 forward, STL has too many forwards. you could trade Steen for a 1st at least or package him with a prospect for a actual goalie or dman and save Barbashev.

I see no way Fabbri gets a bridge deal. Why commit money to a guy who hasn’t played in 2 years? If you can move Steen or JayBo for anything I’d do it. I’d prefer to move Steen to have cap flexibility for next offseason when there are numerous FA’s of a high caliber

Fabbri is young, he had a good season, then got hurt. give him a 1 year deal anywheres from 2-3 mil as a "prove it to me" deal. he does good, sign him to a bigger deal. if not, sign him for 2-3 years for a cheaper price. Steen and Bouwmeester have value for some teams, its just whats the return. i think you could trade both without having to add.

yes he does mainly because of how many forwards you have, not skill. hes still an amazing player, and a team like ARI or a young team with cap and needs leadership with skill would take him. Maybe Carolina or even Buffalo.

I would love for Steen to be gone tbh, but their also alot fans that want him for his leadership. I rather have him gone over Berglund cause of his contract and produces less. I really want Sobotka gone also.

But why would the Blues pay him? He has no leverage. He can go to arbitration but he won’t make anything there. No reason to pay the guy especially not for years you may not get

Not sure you watch the Blues. He missed half of 16-17 because he tore his ACL. Then retore that ACL 8 months later and missed this whole season. He won't get more than 1.25 m for 1 year. Bouwmeester is coming off hip surgery, he won't have any value really until he's played more (he missed like 60% of games this year). Steen is still valuable sure. You also keep saying we have a lot of forwards. The issue is that we only have 4 top 6 forwards. Maybe only 3. There's a huge dearth of top 6 scoring talent.
