Rebuilding team unlikely to trade young prospect and top 10 pick for older winger. Might be able to get pick in the teens + prospect from like STL, FL, COL which would still likely land you one of the top 3 C in the draft

Rebuilds dont take as long as they used to nowadays. Theyre getting a 30 goal winger and a pick in the top 40 on top of the other 2 firsts they have. I think New York would think about it at the very least

For me, its no brainer they don't need LW have Kreider, Namestikov and Spooner on LW already. Might not be 30 goal scorers but Patches also didn't have 30 last year so until he does it again he isn't either
