They just think that hanifin is the best défense but the problem is that he is not playing his best in Carolina.

Plus if Carolina trade him that will cost too much

I think that the answer is to keep the same lineup of last year but with this lineup

I think that chara will play his last season next year, after that maybe a one or 2 years contract to a defensive def to be paired with mcavoy so that we wait for Vaak or zboril to come and p’ay With him

I'm just here to see people lol at krug in a number one role. The guy is a third pairing power play specialist that has some trade value right now. Why not leverage his good season to acquire a top 4LH defense-man? Hanifin is just the latest name to be floated around cause everyone knows Sweeney's affinity for him. In all seriousness, Krug cannot handle top 4 minutes. The guy wears down easily in the playoffs and cannot be relied on. I don't understand how people don't see this. Especially after the Tampa series. Tampa repeatedly hit him whenever they could and it affected his game.

Not sure why you replied to me, I don't disagree with anything you said. I just don't see Hanifin as this saviour that everyone thinks. People **** on Krug now and if you look, Hanifin's #'s are worse than Krugs lol. I agree though, Krug is a 3rd pairing PP specialist right now. IDK that he'll ever be a true 2nd pairing guy, but what I do know is that if we trade him we don't have anyone to fill in that 50-60 points he gives from the back. The team needs to add to the defense for this year and make a push for the Cup, not trade away an elite OFD.
