Mock draft 2018 please comment

Jesperi Kotkaniemi is riding the hype train into the top 10.

I'm a firm believer that Kotkaniemi is top 10 material as well, but few scouts agree. Likely going to be another steal, somewhere around 10-15

Kupari would be an awful pick at 14, would rather have Kravtsov, Farabee, Kaut, or Farabee picked there. And Noel at 19?!?!

Coming from the Red Wings end of this mock: Rumor is Bouchard is their number one preference after Dahlin when it comes to dmen. So if that is true than Detroit takes Bouchard over Hughes. With Detroit's second pick if K'Andre Miller were to be there still I think they would take him. I know it seems weird to take two defensemen, but if Miller is there they should definitely take a chance at him. If they took Bouchard and Miller, there second round picks would both be forwards.

YES!! From an OTT perspective, I HOPE Tkachuk drops. There is no reason he should be in the top 5. Over the last couple years, they picked up Bower and White from Boston U in the first round LATE (21st and 29th) and they both had more productive seasons than Tkachuk at the time. With Tkachuk, you're drafting the name, not the player........... lol had to get that off my chest.
