Poor Matt Phillips. It's great that he has a role with WSH now, but CGY ruined his development.

As for Jones, it's absolutely insane that he wasn't signed by anyone, as he would've filled the 40/70 spot for the VGK expansion. That's the only reason why Matt Bartkowski got a contract back then; nobody was savvy enough to just give Jones a multi-year two-way deal?
