      Yep, you're definitely right that it's not an issue right now. But TOR needs to make improvements on the back end and will need all the space they can get while trying to do that and while also trying to re-sign Matthews, Nylander, Marner and Kapanen. I see Kapanen as the odd man out in that equation. TOR might be able to move some players around to make room for all of them, but cap relief by trading money and getting some type of assets for Kapanen isn't too lofty of a solution. The overall trade is somewhat of a reach, but it's also pretty reasonable.

      The Leafs will be able to spend over the Cap by 10% as all teams can as long as the minute the season starts they are under the cap again and the minute the season starts up to 5.3 Million LTIR can be used so it will never be an issue
