Dahlin - hoping for a lucky draft lottery day
Tavares - obvious reasons the Habs should sign him ... not necessarily likely he plans to leave NYI however
Nash - bit of business move for tickets and merchandise, get the older generations of fans excited about the Habs season
Borgstrom - Very successful at NCAA and provides legitimate high-end talent depth at centre ... Habs can add a 2nd rounder at 2018 draft to even up the deal

Pacioretty has seemed to prefer certainty, so it's a reasonable bet that he would want to sign quickly -- unless the offer is so low that he figures he can't help but do better with a good season.

Why are you picking on Detroit to take Schlemko? ;-)

Haha closed my eyes and picked a team basically - can't think of a team that would be too desperate for his services

not too thick, but real. these stupid sign and trades just don't happen, when guys can't think of a logical trade, they mention the non existent "he signs an extension" and hey, I can make a trade. stick to the cornhuskers.
