Kesler is a better player than Steen.

But if both teams want changes I think the value is probably there. Steen and Kostin for Kesler and Barbashev and a 2nd for Silvferberg.

Would think blues would use Kesler at center though.

Yes because they need faceoff help and need an "in your face" type of player. Even with Tavares and Schenn, use Kesler as your third line center and have great depth up the middle which can only be matched by a few teams.

Kesler is the better player when healthy, but it could be a good change for both players. I agree that I'd rather have Kesler at center. But it was Thomas, Kyrou or Blais for the last top 9 spot and I chose to keep Thomas at his natural position

JJ is looking for considerably more money than that; you'll get that kind of contract from him only late in the summer if he's desperate.
