i like the edmonton deal fair for both sides but pacciorety will not fetch borgstrom and a first, borgstrom is a elite top prospect and wish pacciorety being a top 6 atm and 1 year is not worth it as borgstrom is nhl ready and can play that role already. But i feel you could get a little more for weber if you hold 1.5m-2m back because then his contract is actually quite good for a couple years.

It might be easier to trade Pacioretty if he already has a deal with Florida on an extension. If not i want Heponiemi, 1st in 2019, Arizona 2nd in 2018 and Mascherin.

Pacioretty best center was Plekanec. Imagine what he will do with Barkov, Trocheck, Huberdeau, Dandonov, Bjugstad...

Or why Ladd would waive his for Montreal? Or Lucic would waive his for Montreal? Or why one year of Patches is worth so much to a non playoff team. Florida can just wait a year, sign Patche and keep those good assets.
