Not enough value for mark stone.

Why’s everyone trading Brodie? That guy is legit..... no way I consider him a problem unless somethings happened.

Trade Bennett, he’s the emblem of failure after being a high pick.

You trade Brodie to add a 1st and make room for Kylington who's NHL ready and has been killing it on Stockton this year. You gotta trade something to get something.

he's had an awful year, but I still don't get why everyone wants to throw him away for nothing. He's still shown glimpses of how good he can be, definitely wouldn't give up on him just yet.

I’m guessing you’re talking about Bennett..... he’s pissant imo, why trade brodie over that underachiever?

I was actually talking about brodie lol sorry shoulda been more clear. I still remember the 2015 brodie that helped get us into the playoffs and win a round in the absence of gio, which is why I still have hope for him. But yea I'm with you on Bennett, he's a bust.

Trading Brodie for a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd isn't "throwing him away for nothing" As for Stone. I think it's perfect value. He's an RFA this summer and Ottawa likely can't afford to re-sign him. Ottawa is getting a good middle 6 winger on a great contract, a 1st, and a bluechip prospect. Also, 2015 was a long time ago. Dennis Wideman was a 50 points Dman in 2015. Not saying Brodie is on a decline like he was, but sometimes you gotta make the hard trade.
