Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

I will go over a couple things here please read this before commenting.

The Salary cap went up by 5% of the upper limit both years because I felt that was a fair number, but that is indeed the reason why the numbers look funny. The actual number of this team with no extra skaters is 76,243,888 leaving around 6million for bench players and over 8.5 the following season with Kevan Miller coming off the books. The team trades Backes then freeing up 14.5M to sign DeBrusk, Grzelcyk and Bjork to 3 to 5 year contracts.

The first four Forward slots and 3 defenseman slots are the actual lines in this mock and the following forwards / defensemen are in order of value as an asset as I rank them within the organization.

Frederic / Studnicka is about a tie right now imo. I went with Frederic because I think he's on the path to make the NHL faster which would give him an advantage.

Krug is tied for fourth in defenseman scoring points per game.

Zboril is a future #3-6 LHD but he may need another year in the AHL.
The Ducks are strong down the middle with Getzlaf, Kessler and Henrique so I sent them 2 solid scoring wingers.

Cehlarik probably would have played in the NHL all season if he stayed healthy.

I saw Ryan Fitzgerald play live twice at Boston College and both times he was as good or better than his teammate Colin White. I believe he was a year older, but that in itself should show that he's a legitimate prospect.

This is less than the Hamilton deal because one 2nd turned into a 4th and both the 2nd and 1st should be late in the round compared to picking in the top 15 if Vegas goes on to qualify for the playoffs again.

I used the Dougie Hamilton deal as barometer for this deal. Vegas sends Boston less because Carlo doesn't have the same offensive skill.

Boston gets a RHD prospect to groom to take over for Kevan Miller in a seasons time. Two picks help as well for sending a guy that they were forced to move due to cap considerations.

STL does this if Fabbri's health becomes a factor again in 2018-2019. Having Berglund or a really young prospect as the 2nd line Center isn't likely to work that well. If problems occur they could have major interest in the 2 year rental of David Krejci. Another layer of logic to support this trade is that STL has had some recent struggles in the playoffs and Krejci himself has led the entire league in playoff scoring two separate times so he'd likely make a big impact for them.

1 thing I’m thinkin, tho. With how well Krug’s played, maybe u can get away with making that trade without giving Anaheim Zboril?

Not sure if it'd be a deal without him in it. I like to pay enough to make it reasonable for the other team to accommodate Boston's needs which was to get a #3 who was capable of moving up in responsibility to a #1/2. Krug can't handle the top pair, but I think Lindholm can. If Anaheims fan's think it's fair without Zboril then I'd like it more.
