Honestly there's no way Arizona is doing that trade, unfortunately.

Arizona is getting ripped off in that deal. Bobby Ryan and Gáborík are just cap dumps and Karlsson, Pageau and Pyatt kind of even that out but then what the Sens get in return is way to much. Yotes give up high picks and valuable prospects in exchange for 2 huge cap dumps and a bunch of players who are free agents shortly.

If they’re willing to make a run I like the FA but then you’re left with $8M (MacArthur should be on the IR) to sign Duchene, White, Dzingel and Chychrun. I’d rather see the Sedin contracts have one term so it frees up $10M at the end of the year.

Ottawa owner doesnt want to pay karlsson 12-13m, why would he signer the sedins for 10m

- I don't see the Sedins leaving Vancouver for a team that is not a top contender.

- Carlson will sign a Cup favorite too

- MacArthur will be on LTIR for the rest of his contract

- Burrows on the 2nd line? I know those 4 used to have success together but that time is in the past.

- Arizona wouldn't take that much salary (like 25 M$ per year) for just young cheap players and a (possible) high pick next year (potentially Hugues)

- Karlsson wouldn't accept going to Arizona



Again, no team is going to acquire Karlsson as a "free agent shortly"
