I would assume so, but just wanted to make the point that it is a cap dump. Definitely, teams out there that would be interested in improving their C depth.

By then perhaps Saros is ready to go as the number one, or Rinne signs for less than $7M per. Cap goes up, and you can always look into moving Turris or RyJo to get younger.

If the rumours of Nashville being in on Karlsson were true, it suggests to me that Poile sees an opportunity to go big game hunting to bolster his squad.

This would put Poille in cap HELL. Especially with needing to sign Ellis, Josi, Fiala, Sissions, Hartman, and Rinne between now and 2020.
