I don’t get the Green signing. Haven’t you had enough of D men that struggle to play D?

With Lehtonen playing as well as he has this season, I don't see the Stars looking for another goalie. He's expressed his desire to sign an extension, and there's a good chance they are going to resign him to a much more team friendly deal.

You put Young Players on here, Yet you sign Mike Green. Yeah that makes tons of sense.

We need a RH shot and help on the second power play. There’s no way that Hak and Hexy allow us to go into the season without putting a seventh Dman on the roster and I think they prefer someone with experience as compared to a Mark Alt. Mike Green is signed to a 2 yr deal so he’d be fairly easy to get rid of after this season if Myers is ready the year after. Even with Green the D gets a lot younger and so did our forwards in the bottom six, and our goalies with Bernier being the only goalie with significant seasons played. Also the way Morin has struggled to stay healthy and the way teams like to carry 8 Dman a veteran makes sense if you can sign a good one and someone like AlT can play the seventh.

I’m not really big on Green but Flyers should sign a veteran and one that can produce points and play decent RD, the only others that I know of that are RH shots are Ian Cole and Jack Johnson. We may be able to trade for a veteran D man without giving away too much but it seems like a lot to do for only a season or two.

That’s very fair I didn’t realize that was the case with Lethonen. My point is for the Flyers they just want to deal Neuvirth somewhere to be a backup, and get hopefully a mid round pick.

I wouldn’t be opposed to moving Simmonds this summer for a capable 2nd pairing RHD. That makes room for another kid next year.

Yeah your not wrong. If we are going to get rid of simmonds the draft or Deadline would be the time. Hexy might be able to get a huge haul. It makes us a lot tougher and bigger if we have McCaron, Crouse and Goulborne in or even bring up Vorboryov.

        Possibly Carolina for Faulk.
