What a mess. Bozak, de Haan, Neal and Johnson will for sure get more than that on the UFA market. Danault will get twice that, de la Rose will get closer to $1M. And why sign those 4th liners only to force our young players out of the lineup? Where's Hudon?

StutheSniper you're obviously a Leafs fan because this is a cup contending team. The young guys would get more ice time in the AHL anyway, therefore more development.

Your delusional is you think this team is a cup contender. It doesn’t have a top center man, it’s top line has a combined age of 785, you haven’t fixed any of the defensive issues the team currently faces (if you think Johnson, Dehaan and Lovejoy solve it you haven’t seen where this league is trending), can’t just stop Mete, Scherbak, and Juulsens development (draft and develop is how you win)

And no I’m not a leafs fan, check my profile on this site, pretty much exclusively MTL
