Description
Okay before FutureNHLGm starts ripping this, listen up:

MIN: This trade is definitely the craziest one. Now Minnesota has lost 7 straight, their team is playing like they don't wanna be there and the players involved maybe need a change of scene. I know it seems absolutely insane to give up 4 straight picks in such a deep draft but if that's what it takes to acquire these three specific players that will change Boston Bruin hockey then I say go for it. Minnesota gets a retained top 3 dman in Zee, who's contract next year (with the salary being retained) will be about 2 mil (pretty good price for Zdeno Chara). Minni also gets Koko and Trotman, two prospects with upside and Loui who if not resigned will just give the Wild more space to restructure their team. Not to mention the 4 picks. For that Boston gets a new top dman in Scandella, Charlie Coyle who can play either the third line center spot or the RW spot along with Bergie and Marchy. Lastly, Boston fixes their right side defensive problems with Dumba.

STL: Another controversial trade. STL needs depth on the left side defensively. They get Seidy at a retained price, future top 3 dman in Morrow and depth in Miller. With them goes Frank Vatrano a young sniper who can help them offensively. And a 1st round pick for good measure. In return Boston solidifies their defence.

CBJ: This is the easiest trade to digest. Boston sends three young guys, a power forward who has a quick release and is a roster player in Connolly, Griffith who is a young center with strong offensive awareness and Subban so Colombus can fix their prospect goalie depth by adding a future starter in the pipeline. The return: Cam Atkinson who will slot perfectly next to Bergie and Marchy.

Looking back on this, I know it seems extremely unrealistic, but this would make Boston a top contender in the league, by adding power up front and solidifying their defence drastically. But I do understand that more than likely each of these teams declines these deals. Export the CBJ deal I feel like that one can go through without a problem.

Almost guarantee, Chara doesn't waive his NTC to go to Minni. Still looks like Minni gives up too much.

Wow. They trades are atrocious. Especially the Minnesota, St. Louis, and Columbus one, but besides that I think it looks really good.

Honestly. Do you make terrible trades just to see my reaction? That St. Louis deal is one of the worst. You destroyed the Bruins in that one for a side-ways move. Gunnarsson is just as good, maybe slightly (SLIGHTLY) better than Seidenberg. Morrow >> Bortuzzo. So you downgrade at the bottom 6 position, maybe slightly upgrade (and I'd argue stay the same) with the Seidenberg and Gunnarsson swap, and add in a young cost controlled forward who looks to like he has great goal scoring gifts, AND a first round pick? Kevan Miller sucks but he's better than Bortuzzo as well.

Now, Minnesota is falling out of it. So why in the fuck would they trade a young defenseman with top 4 upside, a solid #3-4 in Scandella, AND a good center/wing in Coyle for that junk? Chara doesn't help them (and he ain't waiving to there anyway), Eriksson is a UFA and leaves at seasons' end, Koko is an unknown and Trotman is (contrary to your belief of a future #3, I've seen you say that before) is probably nothing more than a #5-6 who maybe can slide up if needed for a short amount of time. Then you throw in their first 4 picks in this years draft. I think I'm getting the hint. You aren't this dumb, and you are doing this to see what I say b/c no one would make these trades and think they work.

CBJ trade is meh. Bruins get another small forward who is somewhat inconsistent and has a blah cap hit for what he is. In the process you give up two young forwards with upside, and a solid goalie prospect who could be used in a different deal for a better play.

You once again have made the Bruins slightly better, while weakening their prospect pool, and giving them NOTHING in terms of drafting. WHERE YOU BUILD YOUR TEAM THROUGH. Well done. Like the guy above said perfectly, these three trades are all atrocious, but other than that, it looks really good.

Well at least you're beginning to understand that I do this to piss you off LOL; you know it's very fun getting a rise out of you, but I really want to see you take a crack at an armchair GM. If you can make one that gets good respectable feedback then I'll stop posting, but if you can't do that you're just as good as me...only difference is I know how to joke about it, unlike you who actually thinks that this website changes anything in our society.
