NYR Trying to be realistic

Mode - plafond salarial: Basique
Description
Nash: Nashville in win now mode. Give up our 1st this year for getting Tolvanen. McNeill is a throw in. Might still take more to get Tolvanen though.
McD: Toronto knows they can't resign all their kids, so they give up Marner for 2 playoff runs with McD. Leivo wants out.
Grabner: Pretty much known he'll get about a 1st
Miller: Helps WPG win now
Zucc: Doesn't score as many goals as Grabner, but puts up more points and I think he makes people around him better. He's worth more than Grabs
Just wanted to get rid of DD and McLeod

Picks don't leave teams that rebuild. Especially a lottery pick. Doesn't matter if that gets you Tolvanen. Undervalued Miller and Zucc returns.

It's certainly a risk, but if you believe this kid is going to be a cornerstone of your team, you might be inclined to trade that pick.
I think Miller is fair. He's struggled this year, but could turn it around with a change of scenery. Stanley is one of WPG's top prospects.
Zucc, I'm not sure what people think of him. I've seen other posts say 1st, B prospect and a 2nd or worse. I've also seen posts where he takes 2 top prospects and a 1st from a team. I chose in the middle

Miller trade makes no sense. Struggles are because he is playing center. Also, Stanley is not a top prospect for winnipeg. Would be a risk for Rangers to take him without having other good pieces in the deal.

Those trades with Nashville and Winnipeg are laughably bad. Tolvanen is a great prospect but trading away our first while giving up Nash defeats the entire purpose of trading him. Miller is worth a lot more than that, Stanley isn't even that good.
