This assumes the Jets resign Byfulgien to a big deal. They have quite a few RFA's including Jacoub Trouba who is going to command a pretty big deal. The Jets are a buget team so can't afford to spend over 25mil on defense so Myers is the odd man out. Pavelec would be a fail safe goalie and sort of split time with Murray as to not completely throw him in the fire immediately.
Over all Pens are younger, faster, have some draft picks stocked, and still have some cap room to swing a trade if necessary

The problem here is the Jets have their goalie of the future in Hellybuk. They won't want Fleury for the same reason Pit is dealing him.

Flames really are the team most in need of a Goalie. Others after that would be Sabers, Jackets, Coyotes, and Hurricanes if they can ditch Ward.

They do have Hellebuyck but nothing behind him. He really was only playing due to injuries to Pavelec and hutchinson and they're playing the hot hand. The jets want to be a playoff team and Fleury gives them a much better chance while letting Hellebuyck develop behind him. I dont think they can sell making the playoffs with a young goaltender that is unproven in the western conference. They also want to move Pavelec. But I do see your point. If the Jets aren't looking for a legit starter they def will want a reliable goalie to fall back on if Hellebuyck falters if they hand him the reigns next year.
I tried looking at Calgary but they wouldn't be willing to move the pieces the Pens would want in return for Fleury. Maybe Ladislav Smid with Mikael Backlund and/or rights to Joel Colborne? Idk.
the Coyotes still have mike smith for another year and his contract is expensive plus they have a young goalie playing well right now too that can split time with Mike smith for another year.
Buffalo could be intriguing.
