Bruins get a young nasty 2-way forward with good upside, and a first round pick for Eriksson. Bickell is literally traded for cap space. Maybe the Bruins try to see if they can get anything out of him. If not, they bury him like CHI did.

As much as I hate seeing Hartman...this may be what it takes to lose Bickell's contract and gain a 1LW. If this is the only deal out there, my preference would be to keep him and look for another LW.

Would be a good help for the left side, but if they're giving up Hartman and a 1st for him I'd rather they get somebody a little younger that they might be able to re-sign for 2 or 3 more years. Giving up a 1st and a prospect with possibly pretty good upside is a lot for a rental IMO. Especially if that means they don't have any picks til the 3rd round. The only benefit out of this is POSSIBLY dumping Bickell's entire contract, but if they don't go far in the playoffs after this move it doesn't look as good to me. Not when you're losing Hartman and the pick.
