Realistic trade with Calgary

Description
I would hate to give up Gallagher but he seems to be the type of player that Calgary could really use at RW, their biggest position of need.

Other option would be trading Pacioretty but it might be awkward to then force Gaudreau or Tkatchuk to the right, and plus I think they'd look for someone younger in return for Bennett.

And as for Bennett, everyone seems to be giving up on him but he's still only 21 and has big upside. He's been moved around a lot on the Flames roster but his natural position is center, and he'd immediately add a lot more skill to the center line for the Habs.

Have you looked at the Habs' centers lol??

He's obviously not a real first line center yet, but common he's only 21 and look at his pre-draft numbers, he's got upside and just needs a better opportunity. He could be a top 6 center for Montreal in the future.

There's a possibility there, but you don't trade Gallagher straight up for a possibility. Flames don't have much to add to make it happen, without their early picks this season. Dube would be the next best thing.

Yeah I pretty much agree, I think Pacioretty might make more sense for the Habs given his age and contract situation, but I'm not sure it's as good of a fit for Calgary. Maybe they could move Tkatchuk to the RW though...

Depends on how he develops. He's an the track of being a bust.
