rangers rn are looking towards a top 5 pick with how they are performing (3 regulation wins in the last 19 games).. here is hoping they jump to #1 like jersey did.

from here, rangers could have 3 years of RFA control over the major core of:
Tolvanen
Chytil
Andersson
Foote
Dahlin

**(4 years of sheshtyorkin when he signs his deal (in khl 1 year plus three year entry level deal))**

In the next three years they have expiring contracts they can continue to trade off in:
Kreider
Shattenkirk
Smith
Lundqvist

with cap going up and the 23 million in these fourplayers, rangers will be able to sign all the listed core RFAs.

Could technically give tavares even more to make him come over. He will prob stay and islander but if he prefers to stay in NY, rangers would make sure they were in contention.


this also isn't including prospects/picks they would get for grabner or nash

      You notice Tampa just brought up Adam Erne, I think they show casing him. So maybe Adam Erne, Cal Foote, 2018 1st round pick for McD cheers

      What happened to Nash & Hayes? Dont think they get into the top spot to get Dajhlin unless they get 2 more 1st rounders by dealing Grabner & Nash & moving them & more to get in the top spot.

      Agreed that more can be had for McDonagh (Raddish, Foote & a 2018 #1 ?) I thnk they'd be hard presed to move Foote and a prospect like LIBOR HÁJEK might be what they offer.Which i'm fine with, also a teammate/countryman of Chytil.

      Wouldn’t it make sense for NYR to go for a guy like Raddysh who is close to NHL ready and a possible future top 6 C?

      like i stated in the description i wasn't including grabner or nash.. don't know what the real market would be for hayes, figure a team like carolina could use him. Didn't trade him because getting tavares is unlikely which would push Zib to top and then Hayes would be resigned for 2nd line

      RHD are pretty rare, especially someone like foote that is 6'4", has size, skating and playmaking ability. In this scenario we have Tavares, Zibanejad, Andersson, Chytil, Miller, Lettieri, Nieves, etc. all who play center. Raddysh i would only want because he would be another right handed shot. If we got him i would skip signing perron to that contract
