I won't argue whether that's a fair price for EK or not, but that's too rich for Anaheim's blood. They'd have almost zero chance of re-signing him, and after giving up so much to get him, couldn't afford to let him walk summer after next, so they'd almost have to deal him before the next playoffs. That gives them one playoff run with him when the team currently isn't even a lock to make it, and EK is playing like a shadow of his former self. I'd pass.
Also, adding EK loses it's luster when I see Bieksa still in the lineup. That guy needs to go!
