Pittsburgh deal

Créé par: NickC1988
Équipe: 2017-18 Blackhawks de Chicago
Date de création initiale: 5 févr. 2018
Publié: 5 févr. 2018
Mode - plafond salarial: Basique
Description
I think this move makes the hawks much better now actually. Freeing up more ice time for the younger guys to play. I think it's better to get them the ice time now so next season it's easier for them to play. This frees up 3 million in cap space to improve in other areas.

Pitt gets their 3C without trading Sprong and at a really good price. Played well with Kane, can probably play well with Kessel giving Pitt 3 scoring lines again.

I can edit it to take Cole back in the deal. Would that still be fair though? Also it depends on how much LTIR they have used. The cap gets weird at the deadline.

Absolutely NOT...... Not with salary retained, not when the pick is going to be 25th-31st overall.

No way.

Anisimov is being extremely undervalued....

It's a deep draft. You're not going to get much more for him besides maybe Cole to get the deal to work.

No, it's not fair.....

The Hawks don't have to move Anisimov so why would they? and if they did there would be a better deal out there for Bowman that doesn't involve the Hawks retaining.

Trading Anisimov makes no sense from the Hawks perspective unless it's a deal that blows Bomwan away.

Says who?

Here? where players get their value based on how they performed in the last month, and not what they've done over the last couple of years?

The Hawks aren't in cap trouble- they don't have to trade anyone, nor should Bowman (or any GM) make trades just to make trades.....

How does this trade help the Hawks?

I know how it helps the Pens....

Anisimov & Kempny for Cole, 2018 & 2019 1st round picks would be fair...

That would be my counter offer if Pittsburgh was interested.

There is no reason to trade Anisimov for anything less.

And why wouldn't Anisimov get a 1st + a prospect when a guy like Andrew Ladd - a very comparable player - got a 1st + Marco Dano?

Look at what comparable players have got at the trade deadline in the past.

Besides, Anisimov isn't even a realistic TDL acquisition for most teams considering his contract - he's not even a rental....

Makes no sense to trade Anisimov unless a team is a making an offer Bowman couldn't refuse. I mean the notion that Bowman will listen to offers from a bunch of tire-kickers is hilarious. And I'm not going to base Anisimov's value on his play over his past 20 games either... Anisimov is criminally underrated and the value being tossed around on these boards is hysterical... Some have proposed AA for a 3rd round pick while they act like they're doing Bowman the favor..... C'mon...

I could see Anisimov being traded at the draft as part of a deal to move up..... But you don't trade him for anything less than a 1st & 3rd or (2) 2nd round picks + a prospect.

Besides, if the Hawks are looking for center, they would be better off signing one or trading for one and moving Ainisimov to LW on the 2nd line if he's not part of the deal. That's where he belongs anyway....

With the emergence of Schmaltz and Anisimov's struggles at the dot, the solution is simple. Anisimov moves to LW in the top 6. A solid top 6 forward with Anisimov's age and track record is worth the value of his contract, esspecially if he can stay healthy. With that said, if Anisimov is traded at the deadline the Pens are a good fit if the numbers can work. Hawks should get no less than a 1st in the upcoming draft, no salary retained.
