Maybe. We would need to find something to do with Darling and that may be difficult. I would imagine ward isn't going anywhere though I would be happy if we moved on from him. Kokes is a pretty highly regarded prospect to us as well but I'm happy the value is getting closer than the recent Hanifin+ for ROR. Personally I'd take this deal.....

I would have no issue taking Darling on, but the issue there is he has a No Trade clause, he could refuse a deal to Buffalo.

But Personally, I think something around Faulk and ROR is extremely fair. Hanifin in a deal for ROR would be trade rape by Buffalo, and the Sabres would have to add a lot for a player that in three years could become one of the top ten defenseman in the game.

Thank you, finally someone with some sense who sees the value Hanifin actually has. A base of Faulk for ROR is perfect hockey trade for both teams, we both are getting exactly what we need for similar aged players of similar stature.
