Just don't see how this team is better off than last year's team that finished out of the playoffs. (Besides getting under the cap)

This is an okay team but this wouldn't be under the cap. He's give Spooner 800k and he's not even resigned Connolly.

And you also have to consider the contracts coming up in the next few years. If you fielded this team, you would be screwed come summer 2016 or 2017, with all of the upcoming raises and resignings.

Yeah thats true, but you have to account that Chara could retire and if he didn't then as the gym I would try and trade him. Either way the bruins are screwed in the upcoming summers, unless the roster was blown up.
