No thanks from the Habs. RD is the least of our needs and Brouwer is a negative with that contract. I like Dube but not enough incentive here for us to give up Gallagher.

Brouwer is mostly a cap dump.... If RD isnt your need fair enough. Just thought Andersson would fit in well behind Petry/Weber and add a bit more mobility to MTL blueline... If not we could offer a LHD like Kylington.

Perhaps the deal might need to be around Bennett/Gallagher. Thanks for the feed back

We have Juulsen projected to come in next year so we will have Weber, Petry and Juulsen in there, no real need for Andersson. Kylington is more interesting as far as needs go but still I don't think that's enough. Bennett for Gallagher as a base may be good but isn't Bennett playing at wing now? We would be looking for a surefire centre.

Sammy could probably be a C with the proper wingers, he has come a long way in his 200ft C game, but him with Chucky could be a fit as they are both fast skilled players, Bennett lacks finish, but can make a play.

It’s a decent trade minus Brouwer. The Habs do not want him. Might need to switch Andersson out for Fox. Good choice with Dube though.

Maybe they are a fit, maybe Bennett is going to pan out at centre, maybe not. It's just a whole lotta maybe which brings his value down.
