you forgot a backup G, but not a big deal, just letting you know.

It's actually interesting to see how much cap space the bruins have even after big signings. Now, I wouldn't sign Yandle (especially at that cap.) Remember that after this season we have to resign Marchand, Pastrnak (as the two big ones).

Don't think Colin will cost that much, and I can't see Koko resigning here.

Thinking that Ericsson can be had for less. Who else will be offering 6m? Don't think Debrusk will be ready for the NHL next year. To me it doesn't look "NHL strong" right now. FutureNHLGM is probably right about the Yandle signing. Might be better to sign a lesser UFA or someone Dman at a lesser cost.

Most I offer Eriksson would be 5.5 million, and that's the absolute most. Don't think that's realistic though. I think there are some teams that would throw 6+ million at Eriksson.

Among RW's, he's currently tied for 9th in scoring (with 38 points). Tied for 4th in Power Play goals for RW's (tied for 6th in the league for PPG). Add into it that he's as excellent PKer, can play 20 minutes a night and plays an effective 2-way game, i could definitely seeing a team giving him a contract in the 6per range.

Perfect example: The Florida Panthers. They'll have around 30-35+ million in cap space going into the offseason (Assuming cap goes up the projected 3 million Bettman eluded to). Don't have too many guys to resign (Pirri, Trocheck, Gudbranson all are RFA's), Jagr coming off the books (unless he resigns again, even then). I could see them upping the dough up for Eriksson.

Who would've thought that Florida might a desirable landing spot for UFAs. Imagine the cap room Panthers would have without Bolland. Instead of Ericsson, could the Panthers pony up more money for Stamkos?
