FIRST THINGS: You need to look at both Year 1 and Year 2 of this for it to make sense to the teams trading with the Habs, especially the Islanders.

KEY ASSUMPTIONS:
1) Draisaitl needs to be moved from Edmonton because of dressing room issues;
2) Both Edmonton and Montreal have accepted their fates for this year;
3) NYI believes it can win it all this year and/or next and is all in to re-sign Tavares.
4) Vegas can use Shaw, but that sort of deal could be done with any number of teams. Essentially, it's Shaw at $2.6M for 2 second-rounders.
