Value is off for picks if you ask me, but that trade makes a lot of sense both ways. 5 stars if you change the picks a little.

How so? Thought value was there nuge is what 5 years younger? 4 year left on contract vs paches 2 I figured the picks made sense Montreal already has two second round picks haha why not have three!

Pacc +4th for RNH +2nd conditional that Pacc resign with Edm.
But I like this trade make sens for both side...

Look at it as RNH and a second for Pacioretty for a season and a half plus a chance at Dahlin or another top prospect. Canadiens are giving up too much in that situation. I see where you’re coming from, but think about that too.

Like I said, I like the trade and it’s well thought out. Just think about what the picks become.

I agree no draft picks. Most GMs don’t trade 1 st round pick, especially in 2018. One for one straight up.

Not a fan of patches personally. I find him to go on long streaks where he doesn't score. I guess I'm wondering if Chucky is a cheaper option? Maybe Strome for Chucky
