TOR would get some very decent players with very nice salary. Dumba would bring some great solidity to their defense, he's a young, right-handed d-man that Leafs has been looking for, and from Coyle, they get a physical forward who could play in basically in any line and place, and a draft pick.

Nylander would bring Minnesota such talent that there's no team in the league who wouldn't want that. Wild's top offense has started to age a little (Koivu, 34yo, Staal 33yo etc.) so bringing a young forward for their future would be just what they needed. They'd also get Bozak in that deal, making him a decent 2C or 3C, and Marincin, who could help their defense for the rest of the season.

Minnesota lines would look like this after the trade (if everyone healthy, except Parise due to his long-term injury)

Doubt the Rangers do that trade. Hayes isn’t a rental. He is an RFA Following this season. Rangers center depth is very weak, can’t afford to give up a quality center for mid-picks.

I don't mind the Minny trade. I don't see why Tor would ever make the trade.

Marincin doesn't really do much for Minny (unless other moves are made). He'd just be stuck in the AHL, and not see the NHL. Suter, Brodin, Reilly, and Olofsson are all on the roster already as LD.
