    Wideman has a NMC, no way he waives it for Carolina in his contract year, where does that leave him?

    Johnny for 6,500,000 for 5 years is iffy, to say the least. He'll probably want 7-7.5 million, a la Tarasenko.
    Jones could probably come cheaper, he's getting older now and probably just wants another year or two of hockey before retiring.
    Schenn is a player with pedigree entering his prime, no way does he accept any sort of pay cut compared to last year (3.6 million) when he is a 27 year old UFA D-man .
