You can add Connor to the list of not getting traded. The team that hypothetically acquires Simmonds will not be giving up any good current roster players as it's a sideways move. Equally teams like Vegas and Colorado who are rebuilding aren't going to give up futures.

So you're probably looking at a top prospect (like a former first round pick) from a team in or around 'win now' mode, a first round pick, and maybe a lesser prospect or 3rd round pick sort of range.

Perhaps Ek off the Wild, Vilardi off the Kings, Roslovic from the Jets, or Howden from Tampa (though really you want to target a team that you think might get beat in the first round of the playoffs to maximise a 1st round pick) are the type of prospects to aim it in my opinion.
